Jonathan & Natalie's Island Wedding

I'm back from two weeks on the always gorgeous Manitoulin island! Complications with my laptop had left me with very limited internet time during my time there which greatly limited my blogging. 

My family and I traveled up and stayed in the cozy Big Buck cottages in South Baymouth since Grandma's house really fills up fast with 40 some family members heading to the island at once. It was our second time staying there and we definitely recommend them next time you're planning your island vacation.

This island trip was focused on the major family wedding of the summer! My eldest cousin Natalie married her beau Jon Cruz on the Family Brown farm, which was completely decked out! The yard was gorgeous and all the work from my aunt and uncle really paid off. I was there as the photographer and having too much fun doing it. The reception was held in the Tekhummah Hall.

As soon as you drive up to the farm, you get a good laugh with the bride and groom hay bales. People were stopping to take photos all the time. We had to get a shot of the actual bride and groom with them come wedding day.

There's one more island snapshot from a few years ago that's good for a laugh. What an encouraging thing to see as soon as you arrive, eh? Ice caps... so.. far.. away!!!!!!
